Suicide Call Back Service is a 24 x 7 nationwide service that provides professional
telephone and online counselling to people who are affected by suicidal thoughts or by
suicide. The Suicide Call Back Service provides immediate telephone counselling and
support in a crisis.
The telephone call will be answered by a counsellor. It’s possible to
sign up for free video and online chat counselling on the website.
Up to six free telephone counselling sessions may be possible.

Open Arms provides free and confidential counselling to anyone who has served in the
ADF, and the veteran community.

The Beyond Blue Support Service gives people in Australia the opportunity to talk through their concerns with a trained mental health professional. People who access the service can receive a one-on-one counselling session focusing on addressing an immediate concern, as well as receive information and advice on continuing to seek support.

This is a 24 x 7 telephone service providing information, advice, support and
intervention for people in crises and needing urgent help.
Types of crises addressed by
the service include child protection concerns, family and domestic violence, suicidal
ideation and homelessness.

Crisis Care Unit assists callers experiencing homelessness by providing information and advice. In exceptional and unforseen circumstances, support is provided for callers to access short-term crisis accomodation.

QLife provides Australia-wide anonymous, LGBTIQ+ peer support and referrals for people wanting to talk about a range of issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships.

The Samaritains are a not-for-profit organisation based in Western Australia. They aim to help build communities in which people have appropriate support to explore how they feel and to build mental wellness.
